Alison Van Der Linden

Alison Van Der Linden works in a variety of media, which gives her great scope to fully explore different themes and concepts which she uses to closely observe and record a wide range of subject matter. Her subject matter of the environment, animals, people, and the natural world can best be described as ‘whimsical’. She has always been inspired by stained glass windows and loves the boldness of colour as light reflects through the fragments of glass. Her works are colourful and optimistic paintings of life surrounded by the beautiful bush and landscapes of South-West Victoria.
