Alistair Morgan

Alistair Morgan has found an art form in the making of Tasmanian handmade skateboards. As much as skating itself is an art form, the creation process shares similarities when it comes to creativity and individuality. He incorporates native woods and uses acrylic paint on his skateboards to convey his unique style of artistic expression. Alistair hopes to see more localism in the community and see more support for local artists, more so after the shock of the coronavirus pandemic destroying the market for art. The idea behind his work is to collaborate and give artists a unique handmade canvas, hoping to see a different expression each time.
