Tegan Hamilton is a widely acclaimed glass artist that has worked with internationally renowned glass artists in Australia as well as abroad, and has exhibited in many solo and collaborative shows. Tegan often includes technical, scientifically accurate and detailed portrayals of a variety of animals and sea creatures into her glass sculptures. Completing her Master of Fine Arts in 2011, she is an active member of the Australian and Seattle glassmaking communities, currently working from her Melbourne studio. Tegan has been featured in Craft Arts International, shortlisted for Western Australian Art Gallery’s Tom Malone prize, the Ranamok Glass prize, Deakin Contemporary Small Sculpture Prize and the Waterhouse Natural History Prize at the Museum of South Australia.
